The success of
the sport of sailing is built on sailing clubs world-wide. Here we'll
be bringing you news and information, including race and regatta results,
for a variety of clubs, along with direct links to those clubs who have
web sites.
If you'd like
to have your club listed, contact
us with the club name, web site address, appropriate contact person,
and any other information you feel is appropriate. We will visit the site
to verify the information, and get permission for a reciprocal link.

North America
- The Royal Canadian Yacht Club - Canada's oldest club. Based in Toronto, on Lake Ontario, this club is home to a sizeable fleet of many different types of boats. The club features racing and a wide range of other activities.
- The Queen City Yacht Club - Located on Toronto Island, this club's site features an e-mail newsletter, and useful information on club activities and the city of Toronto in general.
- New York Yacht Club - The original home of the America's Cup and the Transatlantic Race. The club was founded in 1844, and its commodores have included J. P. Morgan (of banking fame). A premier site.
- Long Island Yacht Club - Located in Babylon, NY, this club is American headquarters for the Signet class. It hosts races for its own fleet of keel boats, and for the Great South Bay Yacht Racing Association (primarily one-design boats). The club also has a variety of other amenities worth checking out.
- Chicago Yacht Club - On Lake Michigan, this club, founded in 1869, plays host to several important and exciting races, including the Laser Great Lakes Grand Prix, the Smith Regatta, and the Hinmann Trophy races. It includes detailed local weather and a great photo gallery.
- San Diego Yacht Club - With over 120 members in its fleet, the San Diego Yacht Club hosts races for Etchells, Melges and other one-design boats. A truly interesting site for one of the leading clubs on the U.S. Pacific coast.

- this club, located on Pigeon Lake at Bobcaygeon in Central Ontario, Canada, provides a home for
a fleet of M16s, M20s, E boats, and other dinghy sailors and some keel boats. This is also the home for some of the most avid scow sailors in Canada.
Australia/New Zealand
- Cruising Yacht Club of Australia - This club,located in Sydney, is the home for the Sydney end of the Testra Sydney to Hobart race. Members of the club enjoy sailing on Sydney's river and on the ocean. The site features a great deal of information, not only those of you in Australia/New Zealand, but for visitors world-wide.
- Royal Yacht Club or Tasmania - The RYCT, now in its 120th year, hosts the Hobart end of the Testra Sydney to Hobart race. In addition, it is home for sailors cruising the River Derwent and the Pacific. Located near Hobart, the club is home port for a fleet which includes Dragons, Etchells, Lasers and 49er's. - Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron - The home of the 2000 America's Cup host club, this site features information on the Cup races and good, general resources for sailing in the islands.
Europe
- Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club - Located on Belfast Lough, this club has a full racing calendar for a variety of boat classes, including Laser II. Founded in 1899 asthe North of Ireland Yacht Club, it was granted the right to incorporate the word "Royal" into its name by King Edward VII in 1902. The club is looking forward to its centenary in 2002.
- The Royal Thames Yacht Club - The Royal Thames Yacht Club is the premier sailing club in the British Isles for both yachtsmen and yachtswomen. Members of the Royal Thames participate in a growing number of yachting and sailing events worldwide, although the club focus in on keel boat racing on the Solent.
- Chichester Yacht Club - This British club is home to a fleet of dinghy racers (including Lasers and Albacores) and cruising yachts in the 22' to 40' range. The site includes a live forum, organized by topic, which is definitely worth a look.
- Royal Gothenburg Yacht Club - Located in Gothenburg, Sweden, this club will host the 2001 IMS European Championships in August. Most of the site is, naturally, in Swedish, but there is also English content. Take a look!
- Yacht Club of Greece - This club, in Pireaus on the Mediterranean Sea, was founded in 1934. It hosts a schedule of races throughout the year, and is home to the ILC 40 World Championships.
